Flooring Program
We have a new flooring program. The Program is Red and Blue Label prefinished hardwood flooring. Total sq. ft. throughout the year will be 3 million sq. ft. (approx. 220 trucks) On a weekly basis I will have an inventory of what Blue Label is available as well as how many pallets of Red Label that is available to be made. Between the 2 I will have about 4 trucks/week on average available. The two programs are explained below along with our current deals.
Red label
The red label product is a utility grade flooring. How the process works for the red label product…. The flooring gets graded before pre-finishing, Which means is has a knot, birds eye, and or some pith in the wood. Please see attached Red Label pictures. So for the Red label product since its graded before pre-finishing you can pick your colors before they run it through the prefinishing line. Colors available:

Blue label
The blue label product is a mill run flooring. How the process works for the Blue label product…. The flooring got graded as mill run (on grade) before pre-finishing, which means very little imperfections. The next step is the product gets prefinished. Blue label product will have a high quality finish. It will be the same as there mill run ( A grade) line. After pre-finishing there is another grading process. This is where the product becomes blue label or A grade(on grade) stock. If it is deemed Blue label there is more imperfections then their A grade/on grade standards. Please see attached Blue label pictures. The patterns and color variations in a living tree are like all of nature—never repeated. Naturally occurring wood characteristics such as mineral streaks, knots, and variations in grain and color are not considered defects. Colors available:
Every week I will have an updated inventory for what Blue product is available. |
